About Me

I’m a passionate advocate for embodied, holistic living and a seasoned culinary artist with roots in the heart of Texas. My journey began as a little one in the kitchen, where I learned the art of southern cooking from scratch. Those early experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of food to nourish the body, spirit, and community.

In my early 20s, I moved from Austin, Texas, to the beautiful forests of Oregon, where I continued to hone my craft and expand my culinary horizons. I trained as a holistic health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, did a year long apprenticeship at a Portland apothecary called The Herb Shoppe and got my 200 hour certification at Lotus Seed, a non-profit yoga teacher training studio. . On Mt. Hood, I ran Sissymamas, a food truck and catering kitchen dedicated to nourishing people with wholesome, locally-sourced meals. From bone broths to fermented foods, my cooking emphasizes nutrient-dense ingredients that honor both tradition and health.

I’ve always believed in the power of food to heal and connect us, which led me to manage a kitchen for retreats and events, where I created meals that not only delighted the senses but also supported the well-being of individuals with limited vision. My work has also included running a farm-to-table food buying club, setting up a free pantry for local people to share food with one another, and serving as a team lead for a community food distribution program that brought food to local families and their elderly or disabled adoptees each week. That work, in the foothills of Mt. Hood, further deepened my commitment to connecting communities with local farms and ensuring that friends and neighbors have access to nourishing, high-quality food.

Beyond the kitchen, I am an artist who has enjoyed a kaleidoscopic life. I love working with natural and vintage objects to make jewelry and altar adornments. Photography and fiber arts are passions of mine, as well as herbalism and plant medicines. I owned a clothing store in Portland in the early 2000s and ran a community space that hosted private events, classes, and art shows. During that time, I taught classes to help people enhance their sexual literacy and intimacy in various cities across the U.S.

Whether I’m guiding you through a personalized retreat in beautiful Southern Oregon, preparing nutrient-dense meals, or helping you navigate intimate relationships with confidence and grace, my mission is to support your journey to a more vibrant, fulfilling life.

Let’s work together to create a life that nourishes you from the inside out.
